We are proud to announce our participation in another public art project! Bradenton Florida is having their 2nd "GeckoFest" Event. The first event in 2006 was a great success for the City of Bradenton and the Artists Guild of Manatee, Inc. (Village of the Arts), and we are very excited to be involved in their 2008 event We have taken delivery of a 6 foot Gecko that will be decorated by October 2007 and then placed on public display in Bradenton for 6 months. After the 6 month display time, the Geckos will be auctioned off at a Gala Live Auction in March 2008. Proceeds go to an important fundraising venture that helps our school children, strengthens and grows our local cultural community, and supports future art-on-the-street projects, its arts and artists.
